MODULAR FURNITURE - SUPERVISOR

Own the complete delivery of modular (board) furniture production—from design validation and DFM to FAI, mass production, quality control, on-time dispatch, and snag closure—with strict daily reporting and zero surprises.

Scope

Processes: Cutting, Edge Banding, Drilling/Routing, Pressing, Sub-Assembly, Assembly, Packing, QC, Dispatch
Products: Workstations, desks, storage, partitions, meeting tables, pedestals
Team: Supervisors, operators, helpers, QC, packers (all shifts)

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & DFM

• Validate drawings, panel sizes, EB thickness, drilling points.
• Approve BOM, routing, Golden Sample, and FAI.

2. Industrialization

• Freeze process plans (jigs, templates, programs).
• Maintain strict ECO and version control.

3. Production & Delivery

• Convert sales plan to weekly/daily production plan.
• Ensure >85% machine uptime and on-time delivery.

4. Quality Control

• Set checkpoints for cutting, EB, drilling, assembly, packing.
• Close NCRs fast; drive CAPA; enforce specs and finish standards.

5. People & Shopfloor Management

• Train operators, manage shifts, overtime, discipline.
• Enforce 5S and safety.

6. Reporting

• Daily: output, RFT, rework, downtime, shortages, NCR status.
• Weekly: OEE, yield, productivity, cost variance, dispatch %.

7. Snag Management

• Maintain snag register; ensure closure within 5 working days.
• Update SOPs based on root-cause findings.

8. Maintenance & Tooling

• Run preventive maintenance for all machines.
• Maintain critical spares; manage tool life; avoid breakdown delays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
