Youll assist project managers / technical leads with the execution of a broad range of hydrogeological/hydrological technical services which may include involvement in the groundwater components of Environmental Impact Assessments, operational water management and closure/reclamation for oil sands/mining industry Youll provide technical support for geological and hydrogeological data analyses, visualization and development of conceptual site models. Youll apply hydrogeological principles to groundwater projects using conceptual and numerical modelling software (groundwater and integrated surface water-groundwater models). Youll develop techniques and methods to create solutions for groundwater problems. Youll perform specialist numerical modelling and simulations in support of engineering projects. Youll prepare technical documentation to support analytical and numerical studies. Youll be a self-starter and be able to take ownership of project tasks using technical knowledge.
