Modeller Design Engineer / Mechanical Draftsman

Roles and Responsibilities

Candidate would be responsible for 3D modelling and generation of 2D drawings, structural items for Fired Heater / Piping related projects being executed by the company.

Job Includes the following activities :

• Modelling as per project specifications and applicable codes (API 560,IS 800, etc.)
• Skillful in Structural Design,3D Modelling,checking and detailing.
• 3D modelling of Structure, Equipment, and accessories in Autodesk Advance steel software.
• Detail Engineering.
• Generation of GA, Fabrication drawings, Structure and Equipment.
• Generation of Bill of Materials (MTO)
• Drawing checking.
• Supervision of Drafting Work.
• Review of sub-vendor drawings and designs
• Preparation of procurement lists
• Coordination between different departments / agencies involved.
• Any other activity required to ensure job completion in time and as per client requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Education: B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Drafting

Good knowledge of the Advance steel software is required.

Good knowledge of Fired Heaters related codes and standards as generally applicable to Refining, Oil & gas industry (API 560, IS 800).

Candidates should have knowledge of steel connection types & details.

Candidate should have good communication, PR skills and should be good at computer usage.

Candidate with knowledge / experience in applicable codes and software of pressure parts design, structural design and mechanics would be preferred.

Experience Required : 3-5 years

Salary : INR 4,00,000 - 6,00,000 P.A.
