Job Summary:

The Structural Steel Modeler will be responsible for developing accurate and constructible 3D structural steel models for US projects using Tekla Structures. The role requires close coordination with engineers, team leaders, and checkers to ensure design intent and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
• Incorporate design revisions, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate with engineers and internal teams for model accuracy.
• Generate erection drawings from the 3D model.
• Ensure constructability and fabrication feasibility.
• Follow AISC, OSHA, and NISD standards throughout the modeling process.

Education:

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
• Formal training in Tekla Structures is mandatory.

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures.
• Exposure to US structural steel projects.
• Good understanding of steel connections and erection methodology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
