Key Responsibilities : 1. Statutory Compliance : Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 (especially Chapter V regarding Welfare). Maintain records and reports as per legal requirements (e.g., Form 20, 21, 22 under Haryana Rules). Assist in government inspections and audits related to welfare and labor law compliance. 2. Employee Welfare Initiatives : Organize and oversee welfare facilities: canteen, restrooms, medical aid, transportation, drinking water, crèche, etc. Plan and execute recreational, educational, and awareness programs. Conduct induction/orientation for new workers on welfare provisions and grievance redressal mechanisms. 3. Grievance Handling & Worker Relations : Facilitate grievance redressal and act as the link between workers and management. Address worker issues related to welfare, safety, hygiene, and conduct. Collaborate with the Grievance Committee and Works Committee for resolution. 4. Awareness and Training : Conduct training and awareness sessions on: Internal Committee (IC) and grievance mechanisms Code of Conduct, workplace safety, and hygiene Freedom of Association, mental well-being, and HR policies 5. Reporting and Documentation : Maintain up-to-date records of welfare activities, grievances, and resolutions. Submit monthly and annual welfare reports to management and authorities.
