As a Backend Engineer for our team, you will be a key player in the development of cutting-edge Agentic AI platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement scalable backend systems that empower autonomous AI agents to seamlessly integrate with enterprise systems and data platforms. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of AI researchers, data scientists, and frontend developers on exciting technologies such as LLMs, multi-agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and real-time adaptive learning systems. Your main tasks will include designing, developing, and maintaining modular and scalable components for autonomous software agents. You will be expected to integrate backend services with modern LLM frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI. Additionally, you will develop APIs, microservices, and orchestration pipelines to manage multi-agent workflows and contribute to business process automation and CRM integration. You will work closely with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot Studio, fine-tuning large and small language models using proprietary datasets, especially from NBFC domains. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the AI teams on model evaluation and optimization pipelines using GCP, BigQuery, and related tools. Your role will also involve developing lightweight learning frameworks that enhance user interactions and implementing real-time models and rules-based decision engines for adaptive automation. You will work on features that enable agents to self-improve over time based on historical performance and results. To excel in this role, you must be proficient in Python and Node.js, with a working knowledge of JavaScript, Java, or React. Familiarity with technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, Agent Development Kit (ADK), and Multi-agent Communication Protocol (MCP) will be advantageous. Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, Express.js, FastAPI, Microservice architecture, GCP, MS Azure, BigQuery, Power Apps, Power BI, CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), prompt engineering, model orchestration, LLM integration, and SQL/NoSQL databases is essential for success in this role. SDL Policy Adherence : Ensure that all firmware development processes align with Fluke s SDL (Security Development Lifecycle) policy, actively embedding security best practices throughout development. Cross-Functional Security Collaboration : Partner with global development teams to integrate security as an inherent part of the product design, development, and testing process. Automate Security Scans : Collaborate with DevOps to automate security scans and testing, ensuring that vulnerabilities are identified and addressed in a timely manner. Establish Security Requirements : Define security requirements for firmware projects, helping development teams understand and implement required security measures. Prioritize and Track Remediations : Work with development teams to prioritize vulnerability remediation based on risk, compliance needs, and product impact, and track resolution progress to ensure timely closure. Incident Response Participation : Act as a critical member of the incident response team, providing firmware security expertise to investigate, contain, and resolve security incidents. Compliance and Reporting : Track and report on compliance with the SDL, documenting adherence and improvements over time, and contribute to periodic security posture reports for management. Qualifications and Experience: Skills and Work Traits Strong understanding of firmware development processes and secure development lifecycle (SDL) principles. Experience with automated security scanning tools, particularly for firmware (e.g., Binwalk, Firmware Analysis Toolkit, static and dynamic analysis tools). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools used to integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with global, remote teams and influence security adoption within development cycles. Effective communication skills for conveying complex security requirements and collaborating across teams. Detail-oriented with an analytical approach to prioritizing, managing, and remediating vulnerabilities. Experience participating in incident response efforts, particularly in the context of firmware or embedded systems. Education B.S. Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Industry certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or working towards similar credentials (preferred). Leading the design and implementation of advanced machine learning models, with a particular emphasis on Large Language and Vision Models, to automate and enhance tasks within Fluke utilizing diverse data sets. Driving strategy and defining best practices for the Generative AI team. Ensuring the precision and applicability of algorithms across varied business scenarios through comprehensive statistical analysis and error estimation. Spearheading the development and refinement of prototypes for AI chatbots, video sentiment review, and other AI solutions, overseeing their evolution into scalable, efficient, and production-ready software. Maintaining and expanding your expertise in the latest AI technologies and algorithms, driving innovation within the team. Facilitating the development of versatile software and data infrastructures, emphasizing reusability, scalability, and integration across various teams and projects at Fluke. Guiding the technical direction and decisions to deliver solutions that meet Flukes high standards for customer satisfaction, efficiency, stability, extensibility, simplicity, and operational excellence. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent field plus 6+years development in a commercial setting OR Masters in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent field plus 4+ years development in a commercial setting. 5+ years of relevant experience in IT and Artificial Intelligence Deep expertise in a specialized area of computer science such as Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Algorithmic Optimization, coupled with strong software development skills. Demonstrated experience in leading the deployment of applications to production environments, adhering to the highest standards of operational excellence. Experience with Databricks on Azure. Experience across Azure, Oracle and AWS cloud environments. Expertise in managing large-scale data processing, advanced AI model training techniques, prompt tuning, model distillation, enhancing robustness, and model quantization. Experience working with large scale AI training. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex, noisy EBS and business datasets and the unique challenges they present. Skills to influence Cross functional teams within Fluke.
