As a Manager, Model Validation - Hybrid based in Mumbai/ Bangalore - India with Citi's Risk Management organization, your role will be part of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Review and Challenge Group within Citi's Model Risk Management organization. You will be responsible for independently validating Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) non-model objects, including unsupervised learning models, Natural Language Processing models, and Generative AI models. Your key responsibilities will include: - Independently validating AI/ML non-model objects like unsupervised learning models, NLP models, and Generative AI models. - Developing and implementing Generative AI solutions to enhance efficiency in validation activities. - Supporting the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of best-in-class Risk programs, policies, and practices for Risk Management. - Identifying potential risks and escalating them for further review. - Creating and maintaining reports for control, tracking, and analysis purposes. - Collaborating with peers and stakeholders with various backgrounds and effectively explaining technical terms to audiences with different levels of technical knowledge. - Conducting independent research on cutting-edge technology related to Generative AI. - Demonstrating self-motivation and attention to detail in your work. To be a successful candidate for this role, you ideally should have the following qualifications and skills: - 3+ years of industry experience - Model development or validation experience using NLP techniques is mandatory. - Experience/familiarity with AI/ML applications in areas such as generative AI, cybersecurity, chatbot, natural language processing, image/voice recognition, robotic process automation. - In-depth technical knowledge of generative AI, common AI/ML techniques, and a strong understanding of risks associated with generative AI, AI/ML, and corresponding mitigants. - Ability to conduct independent research on cutting-edge technology about Generative AI. - Development and implementation experience with Generative AI solution is a plus. - Self-motivated and detail-oriented. Education: - Master's degree and above with a specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or other quantitative discipline - data science, AI/ML, etc. preferred.
