Description The opportunity: You will be responsible for Functional type testing of AC protection functions for the HVDC stations as per the IEC standards using secondary injection kits and real time simulation environment and getting the certification done by the authorized external laboratories. How you’ll make an impact: Supports global R&D projects with the implementation and verification of the latest technology development using the Hardware in loop environment of latest development studies. Setting up and maintaining the lab environment for the different HVDC R&D projects. Developing control and protection solutions encompassing full development cycle (design to delivery) for the future HVDC technologies, ongoing HVDC projects and other business units. Developing test cases using EMT tools for the testing of HVDC control and protection functions in the virtual environment. Developing automated test solutions for the AC protection functions for the HVDC projects. Developing virtual unit testing solutions for the HVDC protection functions. Supporting projects in resolving issues related to protection functions Performing pre studies for the proposed control and protection ideas using EMT tools and identifying the right solutions.
