The main purpose of this role is to ensure maximization of Electrical Assets Availability, Reliability, and Integrity by effectively implementing business processes and procedures through proactive maintenance programs. The goal is to minimize outages with appropriate risk mitigation and troubleshooting, continually improve Asset Management Strategies, optimize Maintenance Programs, and develop Electrical Subject Matter Experts. This includes providing guidance for troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and protection systems, planning and organizing activities within the electrical department, leading reliability improvement initiatives, reviewing maintenance planning, participating in RCA processes, and coordinating vendor activities. The role also involves reviewing technical proposals, supporting new projects, implementing KPI monitoring and reporting, ensuring consistent maintenance program execution, inventory management, competency assessment, and facilitating the application of operational management systems. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and have hands-on experience in electrical equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, condition monitoring, testing, and commissioning. Additionally, the candidate should have 15-20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas / E & P industry or a high-hazard major size industry in a lead position. Knowledge of reliability principles, SAP PM & Material Management Module, electrical codes and standards, statutory requirements, emergency preparedness, and HSE standards is required. Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, team-building, leadership, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
