Mobile UI Designer

As a UI Designer at Orion Innovation, your primary responsibility will be to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. Your designs should align seamlessly with the brand identity and user expectations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Mobile Architects and Developers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and their integration with platform capabilities. A key aspect of your role will involve conducting user research, developing personas, and performing usability testing to inform design strategies. By gathering feedback and behavioral insights, you will refine solutions to enhance user experiences. Moreover, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining comprehensive design systems that encompass style guides, UI components, and reusable design patterns to ensure scalable and consistent experiences across platforms. To excel in this role, you must stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform guidelines to drive innovation in mobile design practices continuously. The ideal candidate for this position will possess proven expertise in UI/UX design principles and proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software. You should have a visually appealing portfolio showcasing excellence in mobile app UI design, emphasizing both aesthetic appeal and user-centric functionality. Experience in creating wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups is essential, along with a strong foundation in conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterative design processes. An in-depth understanding of mobile design standards, including Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design, is crucial for success in this role. Candidates with certifications in UI/UX design from recognized platforms such as Google UX Design, Nielsen Norman Group, or Interaction Design Foundation are preferred. Additional certifications in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Psychology, or related disciplines would be advantageous.
