Experience Level:Mid. Position Overview:. We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation QA Engineer with expertise in Appium and Java to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for our mobile applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies and be adept at utilizing Appium for automation testing. Roles and Responsibilities:. Develop and implement automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java. Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications across various platforms. Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and resolve software defects and inconsistencies. Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues before product releases. Perform in-depth analysis of test results and provide comprehensive reports to the relevant stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile automation testing. Must Have Skills: . 4+ years total experience with at least 3+ yrs of automation experience involved in design and development of Test Automation scripts using Appium and Java. Experience with other frameworks like Espresso,Cypress will be an added advantage. Strong proficiency in Java programming with a focus on writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code. Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies. Familiarity with testing Android and iOS applications across multiple devices and platforms. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Prior experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks is a plus. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Willing to work in night shift 7.30pm to 3.30pm IST. Good to Have Skills: . Hands on with any IDE e.g. VSCode. Good understanding of Agile methodology. Exposure to CI/CD/DevOps practices would be an added advantage. Qualification:.
