As a Mobile Engineer III, iOS at Expedia Group, you will have the following responsibilities: - Mentor and Guide: Support and mentor junior developers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical coaching. - Own Features End-to-End: Translate product requirements into robust technical solutionsfrom ideation and architecture to testing and deployment. - Drive Technical Excellence: Champion coding standards, test automation, and architectural best practices. Improve app performance, reliability, and scalability. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and QA in an agile, globally distributed team. - Foster Innovation: Evaluate new tools, libraries, and frameworks. Experiment and advocate for improvements in developer workflows and product capabilities. Minimum Qualifications: - 4+ years of professional iOS development experience in shipping high-quality, consumer-facing applications. - Expert-level proficiency in Swift and Xcode tooling. - Strong command of core iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit. - Experience with mobile application integration with backend APIs. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with modern app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, VIPER), dependency injection, and modularization. - Proven experience building unit and integration tests, with a focus on performance optimization and debugging production issues. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, A/B testing frameworks, analytics, and mobile application monitoring systems. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience contributing to team planning and knowledge sharing. - A passion for keeping up with evolving mobile trends and finding elegant solutions to complex problems.
