About the Role:

Senior Mobile Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable mobile automation test frameworks using

  Appium

  with

  TypeScript

  .
• Automate test cases for native and hybrid mobile applications on both

  iOS and Android

  platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, test coverage, and test strategy.
  
• Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and ensure test reliability and efficiency.
  
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
  
• Continuously improve automation practices, tools, and processes.
  
• Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years

  of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on

  mobile testing

  .

• 3+ years

  of hands-on experience using

  Appium

  for mobile automation.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript

  or JavaScript, with experience writing test scripts.
• In-depth understanding of mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and mobile testing challenges.
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
  
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or similar.
  
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
  
• Good understanding of testing methodologies, QA lifecycle, and Agile processes.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  device farms

  (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
• Exposure to

  BDD

  frameworks like Cucumber.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and tools like Postman or REST-assured for API testing.
  
• Familiarity with performance and accessibility testing for mobile.
