Job Description

Mobile App Quality Control Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
manual and automated testing
of Android and iOS mobile applications.
Create, execute, and maintain
test cases
,
test plans
, and
test scripts
.
Perform
functional
,
UI/UX
,
regression
,
performance
, and
compatibility testing
.
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like
JIRA
,
Bugzilla
, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to reproduce and resolve bugs.
Validate APIs and perform backend integration testing.
Work closely with the development team to ensure timely releases with minimal issues.
Provide clear documentation and reporting on testing outcomes.
Continuously optimize testing strategies and improve test coverage.

Preferred Qualifications:

36 years of experience in
mobile app testing
(Android & iOS).
Hands-on experience with
testing tools
like Appium, Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
Strong understanding of
SDLC
,
Agile
, and
QA methodologies
.
Familiar with tools like
Postman
for API testing.
Experience testing apps on real devices and emulators/simulators.
Basic understanding of mobile app architecture and performance metrics.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Good communication and bug-reporting skills.
