Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Mobile App/Game Designer to join us on a project basis. This role is perfect for a designer who is passionate about both functional, user-centric app design (UX/UI) and the engaging, psychological principles of game design.

You will be responsible for taking concepts and translating them into intuitive user flows, compelling wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes. You must be able to switch hats between designing a seamless utility app and conceptualizing a fun, engaging game interface.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Strategy: Collaborate with the product team to define project goals, user personas, and design requirements for new mobile apps and games.
• UX Design: Create detailed user flows, wireframes, and storyboards to map out the user journey and interaction models.
• UI Design: Design visually stunning, pixel-perfect user interfaces, icons, and visual assets that align with our brand and the project's specific style.
• Game Design Elements: For game projects, design core gameplay loops, UI/HUD elements, reward systems, and monetization interfaces (e.g., in-app stores).
• Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to test and validate design concepts with stakeholders and users.
• Handoff & Collaboration: Prepare and deliver meticulously organized design files and specifications for the development team, ensuring a smooth transition from design to code.
• Iteration: Incorporate feedback from user testing, analytics, and team reviews to refine and improve designs throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3-4 years minimum of professional experience in mobile app design (iOS and Android) and/or mobile game design.
• Portfolio (Mandatory): A strong, diverse portfolio is required. It must showcase your design process and feature high-quality mobile app designs. Projects demonstrating game UI or gamification principles are a huge plus.
• Tool Proficiency: Expert-level skills in modern design tools suchg as Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• UX Fundamentals: Deep understanding of user-centered design, mobile-first design patterns, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
• UI Fundamentals: A keen eye for visual design, including typography, color theory, layout, and motion.
• Game Principles: Solid knowledge of game design fundamentals, player psychology, and engagement mechanics (e.g., loops, rewards, progression).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate and defend your design decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
