Your expertise lies in eBook formats such as EPUB, MOBI, PDF, accessibility standards like WCAG, EPUB Accessibility 1.1, EAA, and conversion workflows to deliver top-notch, accessible digital content for global clients. Your primary responsibilities will include leading end-to-end eBook conversion projects, implementing accessibility features to meet compliance standards, validating and troubleshooting files using various tools, optimizing workflows for Fixed Layout and Reflowable EPUB conversions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying updated on accessibility guidelines and technologies, and mentoring junior developers. To excel in this role, you should possess over 5 years of eBook conversion experience, a strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and XML workflows, hands-on experience with accessibility tools, familiarity with publishing standards, and the ability to troubleshoot issues across platforms. Preferred qualifications include experience with InDesign-based workflows, knowledge of ONIX metadata standards, and familiarity with DAISY and Braille-ready formats.
