Senior Electrical Design Engineer Location: PCMC, Pune Experience: 5–6 Years Department: Engineering / Design Roles & Responsibilities Electrical Design & Drafting Develop and review electrical designs, panel layouts, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools. Design control panels, wiring diagrams, and cable schedules as per project requirements. Project Planning & Coordination Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation) for seamless project execution. Coordinate with vendors for electrical components, panels, and technical specifications. Technical Documentation Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM), load schedules, and cable sizing reports. Maintain accurate and updated design documentation as per industry and project standards. Compliance & Standards Ensure designs adhere to IS, IEC, and client-specific standards. Integrate safety norms and best practices into all design processes. On-Site & Client Interaction Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases. Engage with clients to gather requirements and deliver optimal design solutions. Software & Tools Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent design software. Familiarity with MS Office tools for reporting and documentation. Key Skills Electrical circuit design expertise Knowledge of PLC and SCADA (preferred) Experience in switchgear and control panel design Strong understanding of power distribution systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
