Patient Care – IVF Department Assist in preparing patients for IVF procedures including ovum pickup, embryo transfer, hysteroscopy, etc. Monitor vital signs and general health status of patients undergoing fertility treatments. Administer hormone injections or medications as per prescription. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with infertility. Educate patients about medication schedules, procedure preparation, and post-procedure care. Patient Care – Nephrology Department Monitor and care for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), post-transplant patients, and dialysis patients. Assist in pre-dialysis and post-dialysis care. Monitor patients undergoing procedures like renal biopsy, AV fistula creation, etc. Maintain aseptic technique during catheter care, injections, and dressings. Observe and report any signs of complications such as infection, fluid overload, or electrolyte imbalance. Medication Administration Accurately administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed. Monitor for side effects or adverse reactions. Maintain MAR (Medication Administration Records) accurately. Documentation & NABH Compliance Maintain nursing records, vital signs chart, IVF treatment logs, dialysis logs, and progress notes. Ensure documentation aligns with NABH standards and hospital SOPs. Participate in audits and quality improvement processes. Infection Control & Safety Follow hospital infection prevention protocols (hand hygiene, PPE, equipment sterilization). Dispose biomedical waste as per guidelines. Report needle-stick injuries or patient incidents as per protocol. Team Coordination Work closely with IVF specialists, nephrologists, lab technicians, and other nurses. Assist doctors during minor procedures or emergencies. Attend regular briefings and training sessions. Print-Ready Design Prepare artwork for printing, including coordinating with printers or vendors.
