Site Assessment & Root Cause Analysis Conduct technical site audits of ETP/STP/WTP systems to identify bottlenecks in hydraulic flow , oxygen transfer efficiency (OTE) , sludge retention time (SRT) , hydraulic retention time (HRT) , and MLSS/MLVSS ratios . Utilize tools such as dissolved oxygen meters , pH/TDS sensors , and flow meters to collect and interpret operational data. Perform troubleshooting of treatment units including aeration tanks, secondary clarifiers, media reactors, and sludge handling systems. 2. Process Simulation & Technical Recommendations Evaluate plant designs and suggest modifications using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) insights, aeration modelling , and biofilm kinetics . Recommend augmentation using MM Aquas technologies like: TubeDek Settler Media for improving sedimentation and clarifier efficiency. BioDek / MBBR Media for enhanced biological treatment using attached growth systems . Fine/Coarse Bubble Diffusers for optimizing aeration systems . Cyclone Separators for pre-treatment of high TSS influents. 3. Client Engagement & Solution Selling Support Deliver detailed technical presentations and participate in Design Basis Reports (DBR) and Value Engineering (VE) discussions. Assist sales and proposal teams with Bill of Quantities (BOQ) validation, Process Flow Optimization , and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination Interface with design, production, R&D, and application teams for custom-engineered solutions. Provide real-time feedback from site installations and participate in product lifecycle improvement meetings. Role & responsibilities Role Summary The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling clarifier mechanisms (central drive, peripheral drive, suction bridge, and lamella clarifiers) to municipal bodies, EPC contractors, and industrial clients. The role demands a combination of technical expertise, customer relationship management, and business development skills. Technical Sales & Support Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable clarifier solutions (mechanism selection, design customizations). Prepare and present technical proposals, datasheets, and BOQs. Conduct techno-commercial presentations to consultants, EPCs, and government officials. Support site engineers for technical during bidding and execution phases. Business Development Identify and develop new clients across municipal, industrial, and EPC segments. Map consultant influence and drive specification approvals for clarifier technologies. Track tenders, RFQs, and upcoming project pipelines relevant to clarifiers. Client Management Maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and project managers. Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and ensure customer satisfaction. Preferred candidate profile Clarifier Mechanism Knowledge Strong working knowledge of central drive, peripheral drive, suction-type clarifiers , and bridge/beam-type mechanisms . Understanding of mechanical component selection (gearboxes, torque arms, scrapers, scum skimmers, weirs, baffles, etc.). Familiar with drive assembly configuration , overload protection systems, and drive unit torque calculations. Process Engineering Knowledge of sedimentation theory and clarifier sizing (surface loading rate, HRT, sludge settling characteristics). Capability to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and hydraulic profiles . Understanding of inlet energy dissipation systems , effluent launder design, and scum handling provisions. Design & Application Engineering Ability to interact with design engineers to finalize layout, GA drawings, and foundation requirements. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools to review/mark-up technical drawings. Knowledge of material selection (SS304, SS316, FRP, epoxy-coated MS, etc.) based on effluent type and site conditions. Fabrication & Installation Knowledge Exposure to fabrication standards , QA/QC practices for clarifier components. Awareness of assembly, erection, and alignment of clarifier mechanisms on site. Understanding of clarifier mounting types RCC tanks, steel tanks, and modular prefabricated units. Electrical & Automation Basics Basic understanding of motor starters, torque limiters, VFDs , and panel wiring . Familiar with SCADA/BMS integration or standalone local control panels. Fill up all kind up commercial document, bank mandate forms, commercial datas in Vendor registration, Self-Assessment - Supply Chain Policy, etc. 11. Coordination with Gurgaon team and collect all PF, ESIC , bonus and leave sheets of all project service workers and submit to customer on time and collecting service payment on time. 12. Preparation of Collection report on daily basis and circulate to all stake holders and Director . 13. Preparation of shortfall analysis weekly basis and ensure proper implementation of actions for making up the shortfall by next week.
