Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer II, you will be an integral part of the data engineering team, responsible for performing development activities and supporting the guidance, onboarding, and training of Data Engineer I. Your role will involve collaborating closely with various teams including product management, engineering, account management, ETL, data warehouse, business intelligence, and reporting teams. You will primarily focus on developing data pipelines, enhancing existing data structures, and investigating and troubleshooting data-related issues. Key Responsibilities: - Extract, cleanse, and load data efficiently. - Build data pipelines using SQL, Kafka, and other relevant technologies. - Investigate and document new data sets. - Triage incoming bugs and incidents. - Perform technical operational tasks. - Troubleshoot data and data pipeline issues effectively. - Participate in sprint refinement, planning, and kick-off sessions to assist in estimating stories and providing additional implementation details. - Monitor data pipeline areas and promptly escalate any arising issues to the team. - Implement new quality assurance rules to ensure consistent and accurate data. Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of data science concepts. - Proficiency in data analysis. - Working knowledge of ETL tools. - Familiarity with BI tools. - Preferable experience in handling DevOps tasks. - Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Kafka. - Extensive familiarity with ML frameworks and libraries including TensorFlow, Spark, PyTorch, and MLPACK.
