To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of overall software development experience, with a strong background in developing responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, you should possess expertise in GIS web applications development using ArcGIS Maps SDK for Javascript 4.x or ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.x, REST calls to ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online data layers, modern web UI libraries like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte, cloud development (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), software container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), SQL for analytical use cases, and Agile methodologies. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field is preferred.
