As a participant in the 4 to 6-month paid internship at Mason Interactive starting in Fall 2025, you will have the opportunity to lead a groundbreaking ML/AI integration project aimed at revolutionizing the utilization of marketing data. Your role will involve developing predictive models, creating automated insights, and implementing AI-driven optimization strategies based on authentic client datasets. Your responsibilities will include building ML models to forecast campaign performance, optimizing marketing strategies, constructing automated data pipelines that merge various marketing data sources, designing interactive dashboards to visually represent ML insights for stakeholders, researching state-of-the-art AI methods to address marketing challenges, and collaborating across different functions to recognize ML applications in marketing workflows. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in ML, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and NLP. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch are essential. Moreover, experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, SQL, database management, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker Studio will be advantageous. In addition to technical skills, a grasp of marketing metrics such as ROI, CPA, ROAS, and CPM is required. You should be able to translate ML insights into actionable marketing recommendations effectively. Soft skills are equally crucial for this role. Excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders, self-motivation coupled with strong project management abilities, and a problem-solving mindset to tackle data integration challenges are highly valued. Ideal candidates for this position are rising seniors or recent graduates in Computer Science, Data Science, ML, Statistics, or related fields. A portfolio showcasing ML applications to business problems is preferred. You must be available for a Fall 2025 start, commit to a period of 4 to 6 months, and be willing to work a minimum of part-time.
