Security Consultant/Principal Security Consultant Artificial Intelligence Compliance (ISO/IEC 42001) Role Overview: The Principal Consultant Artificial Intelligence Compliance will drive the organizations alignment with ISO/IEC 42001:2023, ensuring the development and implementation of an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS). The role focuses on identifying compliance gaps, recommending, and implementing remediation actions, and preparing the organization for ISO certification. Key Responsibilities: Gap Analysis and Remediation: Conduct a thorough assessment of existing AI/ML processes against ISO 42001 standards and best practices like NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and OECD AI Principles. Recommend corrective actions and oversee the implementation of updated processes, policies, and controls. Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS): Design and establish a structured AIMS framework encompassing responsible oversight of AI development, deployment, and governance. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to align the AIMS framework with organizational goals and emerging regulatory requirements. Certification Readiness and Roadmap: Provide strategic guidance on certification readiness, creating a detailed roadmap with timelines for achieving ISO 42001 certification. Align certification efforts with broader frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and ISO/IEC 38500 (IT governance). AI Risk and Governance: Develop risk management methodologies for identifying and mitigating risks in AI applications, leveraging standards like ISO 31000 and NIST RMF. Establish guidelines for ethical AI practices, ensuring alignment with Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency (FAT) principles. Stakeholder Engagement and Training: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and data science, to embed AI compliance practices across the organization. Conduct awareness sessions and workshops on responsible AI governance and compliance. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define KPIs to monitor compliance progress and the maturity of AI practices. Deliver executive-level insights and progress reports on certification readiness. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications like CDPSE, AI Ethics Certification (MIT, Stanford), or similar are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT governance, AI/ML compliance, or risk management, with expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 standards. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, ethical AI principles, and governance frameworks. Familiarity with compliance requirements like NIST AI RMF, GDPR, and ISO 27001. Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities.
