Provide help desk support to hotel staff for various technology-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, network devices) and software. Manage user accounts, including creating and deleting them as needed for new and departing staff. Monitor servers and network devices, ensure performance, and manage configurations and backups. Protect the hotel's network and data, including managing antivirus software and ensuring the safety of guest information. Evaluate and implement new technologies, such as property management systems (PMS), reservation systems, and point-of-sale (POS) systems, to improve operations. Train hotel staff on how to use new or existing technology effectively. Manage the day-to-day activities of the IT department. Plan and organize IT projects and initiatives.Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology supports business goals. Ensure all technology systems run efficiently and have minimal downtime. Control the key/lock for computer room and ensure that the computer room fire protection, temperature control, and power requirements meet the company security specification as described in the company security system Control all user IDs, passwords, and security parameters. Monitor and maintain CCTV LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, and VPN. Ensure system backups, antivirus updates, and patches are regularly applied. Assist in the setup and maintenance of servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage systems. Ensure smooth operation of communication systems (email, VoIP, etc.).Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
