Role Aircraft Design -Stress Analysis Location Yelahanka , Bangalore Mode : Work from Office only Educational Qualification B.Tech / M.Tech – Aeronautical , Mechanical (Preferrable from Top IIT's) Exp Level : 6+ Years in Aerospace & Defence product design / development company Roles and Responsibilities The Stress Engineer is responsible for carrying out stress analysis for components built out of metallic and composite materials. Also, to prepare necessary stress reports/ documents for certification. Conversant with Aerospace terminologies. Good working knowledge and experience in aerospace materials in both metallic and composites, and, material allowable Working knowledge of utilizing MMPDS, MIL-HDBK-5 handbooks and other relevant composite handbooks. Having good working experience on linear/ non-linear static analysis, Modal/Dynamic analysis, Fatigue analysis on industry standard specific tools as indicated. Having good working knowledge of establishing stress through Classical Approach through Hand Calculations. Hands-on on stress tools like Optistruct/Nastran Patran, LS- dyna, ANSYS, NASGRO/AFGRO or any industry specific tools Must have working knowledge of creating stress reports/ documents for certification. Must be conversant with certification standards like FAR/ JAAR/ CAR/ MIL standards and other UAV standards. Should be conversant with MMPDS and MIL-HDBK-5 standards and other composite standards like ESDU etc. Stress analysis domain experience in Linear/Non-Linear static analysis, Dynamic/modal analysis and Fatigue analysis in both metals and composites. Industry specific tools experience in NASTRAN/PATRAN, OPTISTRUCT, ANSYS, FiberSim, NASGRO, AFGRO etc. Good Knowledge and experience in aerospace materials in both metallic and composite materials. Knowledge and experience in design process and following the stress manuals. Knowledge and experience of arriving stress through classical approach through Hand Calculations. Working knowledge of all industry specific stress tools. Stress analysis report generation and certification documentation Only candidates from UAV product companies are preferred for this role . Manager / Engineer Aerospace & Missile Programs Department : Project Management Location : Walchandnagar Experience : 4 - 6 years Education : B.E. / B.Tech. - Mechanical Work Profile / Key Deliverables Role: Project Management End-to-End Handling of Aerospace and Missile Projects 1. Project Management Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from receipt of purchase order to final hardware dispatch. Serve as the central communication point for internal teams and external customers. 2. Planning & Execution Develop project execution strategies with detailed timelines, deliverables, risk and cost assessments. Track and adjust project plans to meet delivery targets and commitments. 3. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Design, Production, Sub-contracting, Quality, Planning, and Marketing teams. Ensure material availability, documentation approvals, and timely decision-making. 4. Customer Communication Regularly communicate with customers regarding order status, payment schedules, dispatch updates, and documentation. Key Skills: Proven experience in project management (preferably in aerospace/defense sectors) Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems and documentation Proficient in SAP (PS and SD modules) Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills Analytical and detail-oriented with a process-driven approach Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in ISO standards or QMS (Quality Management Systems) PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional but advantageous) Experience in handling customer audits and compliance requirements
