Drafting legal responses & Noting to government authorities/agencies Ensure legal vetting of various agreements and contracts such as vendor agreements, Confirm compliance of all Legal & Statutory requirements w.r.t. all Labor Laws, Factories Act / Rules, Central & State Pollution Control Board norms etc. Responsible for timely submission of all monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual returns of Factory Act, ESI Act, EPF Act, Contract Labor Act, Minimum Wages Act and Payment of Wages Act. Ensure Audit-ready documentation under afore-said Legal & Statutory Laws & Rules including Contractual workers data under the Act. Issuance of show-cause notice/charges sheet depending upon the gravity of indiscipline/misconduct. Representing the management side during the domestic enquiries; Preparing communications (Letters of explanation, Show cause notices / Charge Sheets / Proceedings and Findings of Enquiry / Final Orders / Warning Letters etc.) on issues of misdemeanors and aberrations observed by operations / Businesses; Creation of internal & external network for effective IR intelligence and get IR climate update regularly. Review the legal risks involved in various contracts / obligations and share the same with the management along with mitigation plan Ensure maintenance of statutory registers and employees welfare activities
