Job Title : Data Analytics, Reporting & Technology Consultant Department: Education Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Service Line - Government & Public sector Sub Service Line- Education & Skilling Job Summary: The Data Analytics, Reporting & Technology Consultant will provide expert support to the JEPC State Nodal Officer, focusing on enhancing the quality of education through data-driven decision-making. The consultant will support initiatives such as PM SHRI, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), Teacher Needs Assessment (TNA), and School Certification by leveraging data analytics, developing insightful reports, and integrating technology solutions to improve assessment and monitoring processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Diagnostic & Needs Assessment Engage with stakeholders at state, district, and block levels to understand monitoring needs and capacities related to FLN, PM SHRI, TNA, School Certification, and Impact Assessment. Review existing monitoring practices and management information systems (MIS) in Jharkhand. Collect, clean, and analyze educational data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. 2. Reporting, Visualization & Technology Integration Support the creation of dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into key education initiatives. Use data visualization tools to present complex data in accessible formats for JEPC leadership. Collaborate with the MIS and Technology Cell to integrate new technologies and systems that enhance educational outcomes. 3. Data Management & Stakeholder Collaboration Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all educational data systems. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Work closely with quality education nodal officers and teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Propose and implement improvements to existing data processes and systems. 4. Training and Support Build capacity of JEPC nodal officers and state education functionaries on data analytics tools and dashboard usage. Develop user guides and documentation for data systems and processes. Conduct training sessions for stakeholders at state, district, and block levels on data entry, reporting, monitoring, and information processing. Qualifications & Experience: Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Education Technology, Statistics, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in the education sector. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), Excel, and Google Sheets. Experience with MIS systems and technology integration in public sector projects. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in stakeholder engagement and capacity building. Commitment to improving education outcomes through technology and data.
