Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Noida Experience: 5+ years Type: Full time Team: Engineering / Infrastructure Role Overview As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for our .NET Core, PHP, and Angular-based microservices. You'll work across our on-prem VMs and future cloud-ready DR strategy, integrating with tools like Kong, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, etc. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain Docker-based container infrastructure across VMs (on-prem) Manage lightweight Kubernetes setup (K3s/K8s) for staging and production clusters Set up and administer Kong API Gateway with routing, auth, rate limiting Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins) Monitor and ensure system health and uptime using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki (or ELK) Set up alerts and dashboards for proactive monitoring of server and application metrics Perform log aggregation, tracing, and anomaly detection to identify and resolve system issues Manage Kafka/RabbitMQ brokers and topic lifecycles Automate infrastructure provisioning using Bash/Python/Helm/YAML scripts Implement and maintain regular server health checks, system patching, and performance tuning Perform server provisioning, access control, configuration management, and decommissioning Implement backup, restore, and basic DR solutions (on-prem- cloud-ready) Collaborate with backend engineers and QA on staging/production rollouts Maintain documentation of DevOps processes, architecture diagrams, and SOPs Assist in onboarding and mentoring junior engineers on DevOps practices Required Skills Solid understanding of Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS) and VM lifecycle management 3+ years hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose Experience deploying and managing K3s/K8s, Minikube, or Kubernetes clusters Experience with at least one CI/CD system (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) Familiarity with microservices design, versioned APIs, and API gateways Understanding of Kafka or RabbitMQ setup and scaling Strong in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) Hands-on with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK Basic networking concepts: DNS, ports, firewalls, proxies, load balancers Good to Have Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for future DR setup Helm chart creation & Kubernetes manifests SSL/TLS cert automation (e.g., certbot, Let's Encrypt, Kong plugins) Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB in production Understanding of Zero Downtime Deployment strategies
