We are looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Writer to take charge of documentation initiatives across multiple product lines within NiCE Actimize R&D. This role involves strategic influence, leading a small group of writers, content planning, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement. In this role, you will: - Own end-to-end documentation for complex enterprise software products. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, user-focused content. - Develop and maintain structured content such as user guides, developer/API docs, and contextual help. - Simplify complex concepts for various audiences, including customers, support, and developers. - Enhance comprehension by creating and integrating visual aids and videos. - Ensure alignment of deliverables with Agile sprints and release timelines. - Provide editorial and mentoring support to other writers and content contributors. - Promote best practices in technical communication and drive process efficiencies within the team. Qualifications required: - 2-4 years of experience as a technical writer in an enterprise software development environment. - Proficiency in Agile environments and topic-based authoring. - Strong understanding of APIs and developer-centric documentation. - Ability to grasp complex technology and tools. - Experience creating clear and structured guides for different audiences, including developers (API documentation). - Familiarity with Madcap Flare, Git, and Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence). - Experience in producing videos for technical documentation, with knowledge of Mimic or Camtasia being an advantage. - Passion for quality, excellent communication skills, and strong teamwork capabilities. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
