Oversee the complete garment production process — from order receipt to final delivery. Coordinate with internal teams, including design, tailoring, and operations, to ensure smooth workflow. Assign work orders to the tailor master and monitor daily production progress. Conduct quality checks (QC) at various stages of garment construction. Manage packaging and handover of finished products to the operations/logistics team. Liaise with external vendors and manufacturers (fabric, textile, trims, etc.) for timely procurement and delivery. Role Overview The accountant will manage end to end accounting operations at Mimamsaa, ensuring accurate books of accounts, real time inventory tracking, compliance filings, and smooth coordination with the CFO team. The role supports a fast-growing designer wear brand operating across online (D2C), MBO and exhibition channels. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Daily Accounting Operations * Record daily transactions in Tally (sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts). * Maintain updated books with zero backlog. * Update daily workings including sales, cashflow, collections and payables. B. Inventory Management * Maintain SKU wise inventory (fabric, trims, finished goods). * Track inventory movement across D2C, MBO and exhibitions. * Maintain costing sheets for each SKU (fabric, labour, overheads). * Perform monthly inventory reconciliation. C. Books Finalisation * Maintain correct ledger classification as per COA. * Prepare monthly trial balance, ledgers and schedules. * Support month end and yearend closing. * Complete reconciliations: bank, vendor, customer, GST and inventory. D.
