We are seeking a talented and experienced Power Electronics Test Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for testing, validating, and optimizing high-power electronic systems and components. Your role will involve working closely with design, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure that our power electronic systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. Your key responsibilities will include developing, planning, and executing tests for power electronics systems, validating the performance and reliability of components, and conducting functional, endurance, and environmental testing. You will also be analyzing test data, preparing detailed technical reports, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will be working with cross-functional teams to improve design for testing, provide feedback for optimization, and support safety and compliance testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining test equipment, working with automated test systems, and continuously improving test procedures and methodologies. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of experience in power electronics testing. Experience with high-power systems and high-voltage testing is preferred, as well as a strong understanding of power electronics principles and components. Technical skills required for this role include hands-on experience with test equipment, knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, thermal management, and reliability testing, familiarity with industry standards, and proficiency in using test automation tools and software for data analysis.
