Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright Fitter with a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in aluminum plant operations, especially in slack crushing and metal crushing processes. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy machinery and equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with layout plans and blueprints.

· Maintain and repair equipment used in slack crushing and metal crushing units.

· Perform preventive maintenance tasks on conveyors, crushers, screens, motors, gearboxes, and other heavy equipment.

· Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.

· Ensure all maintenance and repair work is performed safely and in compliance with plant safety procedures and standards.

· Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to optimize machine efficiency.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status.

· Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery when required.

Key Requirements:

· ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter Trade or equivalent technical qualification.

· Proven work experience (8+ years) in an aluminum smelting/refining plant or metal recycling facility.

· Hands-on knowledge of slack crushers, metal crushers, feeders, vibrating screens, and material handling systems.

· Strong mechanical aptitude with good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

· Ability to work under pressure in a production-driven environment.

· Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts and weekends.

· Physically fit and capable of handling heavy equipment and tools.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with aluminum slag processing or recycling systems.
• Familiarity with safety systems, LOTO procedures, and plant maintenance software (CMMS).
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

· Heavy industrial environment – exposure to noise, dust, and high-temperature equipment.

· Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) mandatory at all times.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
