Milling Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Milling Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in operating conventional or CNC milling machines and be capable of interpreting engineering drawings accurately.

You will be responsible for producing high-precision components as per customer specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and set up Milling Machines (Conventional or CNC) as per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining dimensions.
• Perform tool setting, job setting, and offsets with precision.
• Inspect and verify components using measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
• Ensure that machining operations comply with production and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Coordinate with the quality and production team for any deviations or rework requirements.
• Maintain documentation for daily production and inspection reports.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die / Production.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Milling operations (preferably in an SPM or precision components industry).
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments and maintaining machining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and commitment to quality work.

9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
