Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience or diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working in a machine shop environment, preferably with a focus on fabricating sheet metal and milled metal products. Strong knowledge of machining processes, including cutting, bending, milling, and finishing techniques. Strong knowledge of different mechanical machines like Laser cutting, bending, press brake, welding etc. Experience with a variety of machine tools, such as CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, and laser cutters, grinder belt etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of machining operations. Understanding of milling and other manufacturing processes. Ability to use a mill with your own hands and provide guidance to operators. Experience operating a laser cutting machine, CNC mill or 3D printer, and a CNC bending machine. Knowledge of spreadsheets, Word is a must. Responsibilities : Should be able to recognise the right machinery and tools for different operations and able to make the team confident about its operational value for purchase. Should be able to do market research for newest and best machinery available in the market for our desired operations. Should be able to take a design concept and fine tune it according to the machines available in our shop. He should be able to guide us in purchasing, commissioning, using and maintaining machines for cutting, bending, finishing etc. Review design concepts and provide input on feasibility and manufacturability within the constraints oof our machine shop capabilities. Assess equipment needs and provide recommendations for the purchase of new machines or upgrades to existing equipment. Oversee the commissioning and installation of new machinery, ensuring proper setup and calibration for optimal performance. Develop and implement machining processes and procedures to maximise productivity and quality while minimising waste. Troubleshoot issues related to machining processes and processes, equipment malfunctions, and product quality, implementing corrective actions as needed. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source materials, tooling, and spare parts for the shop. Willing to travel Pan India to get the best machinery and tools required to make the operations smooth.
