Location: Andheri (E), Mumbai, India Milano is a fast-growing fine jewelry retailer with 35+ locations across the Caribbean, Mexico, and Alaska, and a rapidly expanding e-commerce presence. We are seeking an extremely structured, detail-oriented, and creatively capable Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to lead our retention marketing efforts across email and SMS. This role combines analytical lifecycle strategy with hands-on creative execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strong with Klaviyo, confident with segmentation and flows, and able to design on-brand email graphics using Canva or Figma. Key Responsibilities Email & SMS Campaigns • Build, QA, and deploy all email and SMS campaigns through Klaviyo • Create on-brand email graphics using Canva or Figma • Maintain a structured communication calendar across launches and promotions • Run A/B tests across content, segmentation, design, and send strategy Lifecycle & Automation • Own and optimize Klaviyo flows: welcome, abandonments, post-purchase, winback, VIP, loyalty, and more • Build dynamic, personalized modules to improve conversion • Develop new lifecycle journeys based on behavior and predictive analytics Segmentation & Audience Strategy • Build and manage advanced customer segments using first-party data and engagement signals • Visualize journey mapping and flow structures using Miro or similar tools • Partner with paid media to ensure messaging continuity across channels Analytics & Reporting • Lead weekly and monthly reporting on email and SMS performance • Identify insights and optimization opportunities to improve ROAS and LTV • Maintain dashboards and documentation SMS Marketing • Manage SMS strategy, segmentation, cadence, and compliance • Build complementary SMS flows to support lifecycle communication Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work with Creative, E-Commerce, Merchandising, and our external agency • Ensure email creative aligns with brand standards and product availability • Translate marketing objectives into clear, effective visual layouts Qualifications • 3-5+ years in email or lifecycle marketing for an e-commerce brand or agency • Strong Klaviyo experience (flows, segmentation, conditional logic, testing) preferred • Proficiency in Canva or Figma to create polished email graphics • Experience using Miro, Lucidchart, or FigJam for workflow visualization • Extremely structured and organized; strong QA and attention to detail • Experience with SMS marketing platforms • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on data • Bonus: background in jewelry, luxury retail, or high-AOV e-commerce What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) • Audit and improve all major lifecycle flows • Establish a structured monthly email/SMS calendar • Redesign or refine email templates for stronger visual and mobile performance • Demonstrate measurable improvement in engagement and revenue contribution If you're passionate about lifecycle marketing, creative execution, and driving meaningful revenue impact, we’d love to meet you.
