This position reports to the Channel Integration Leader and involves overseeing integration design and development tasks related to web application and document management within the middleware. As a Salesforce developer, your focus will be on web/middleware integration development, encompassing a variety of projects throughout the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include Salesforce customization, web services, SOA, business process modeling, and ensuring seamless integration between different systems while maintaining security protocols. In this role, you will actively participate in Agile-based projects to conceptualize, develop, and implement scalable technical solutions that enhance the existing functionality of salesforce.com and its supporting applications. You will collaborate with the team to address project requirements and maintenance tasks across the entire development life cycle, encompassing development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Furthermore, you will serve as the deployment engineer, managing the deployment and reconciliation of change sets and deployment packages from both internal and external developers, while ensuring proper source versioning. As the Salesforce developer, you will also act as the administrator to configure and support the SFDC environment throughout the development lifecycle, integrating Salesforce.com with third-party tools as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements for minor changes and enhancements to optimize system performance. Essential Responsibilities: - Possess 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer, proficient in Apex, Test Classes, triggers, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE, and Migration Tool. - Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in Salesforce.com architecture, design, development, and administration. - Exhibit competence in the Salesforce.com deployment process, source control, HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. - Showcase strong object-oriented development skills, particularly in Java, and familiarity with integrated development environments like Eclipse. - Understand the release management process and Agile methodology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for issue resolution and user support. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, providing estimations for projects and establishing strong relationships across IT to facilitate solution delivery. - Develop standards, templates, best practices, and guidelines for work-products and processes, collaborating with project managers to ensure effective solution delivery. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, work with solution architects and vendors to uphold quality standards, and enhance delivery performance through continuous improvement of work-products and processes. - Successfully manage staff by conducting timely performance reviews. Required Skills and Experience: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech). - Proficient in Salesforce, Force.com, HTML, Apex, Test Classes, triggers, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE, and Migration Tool. - Experienced in managing Salesforce.com architecture, design, development, administration, deployment processes, and source control. - Skilled in HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript, with a background in executing projects across onshore and offshore development teams. - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
