Position Summary
Level:
ConsultantAs an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do:
As a Migration Specialist, you will apply your technical expertise and industry knowledge to plan, design, and execute cloud migration projects across public, private, and hybrid environments. Responsible for requirements gathering and migration analysis, you will map current infrastructures and applications to fit target cloud platforms. You will oversee the full migration lifecycle including discovery, planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration activities ensuring seamless transitions of data and applications using a mix of native and third-party tools. Working closely with clients, you will craft migration strategies that minimize downtime and maximize business value. By participating in Agile practices, mentoring junior team members, and sharing best practices, you will support both effective delivery and team development. You will also help solve migration challenges, drive process improvements, and contribute to automation efforts. Throughout every engagement, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, resiliency, and consistent high performance.

At Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure we deliver solutions spanning Hybrid Cloud, Advanced Connectivity, AI Data Centers, High-Performance Computing, and AI Infrastructure to help clients achieve their desired outcomes. Our offerings include engineered transformation services for hybrid cloud infrastructure and platforms, prioritizing resiliency, optimization, and extensive automation. We integrate advanced connectivity with AI infrastructure and enterprise networks to boost operational efficiency and enable real-time data processing. Additionally, we provide comprehensive management of all facets of operations for hybrid cloud infrastructure and field operations.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 36 years of hands-on experience in cloud migration projects, including migration of applications, workloads, and data to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
- Expertise in cloud migration tools and methodologies (e.g., Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, Google Migrate, etc.).
- Practical experience in performing migration discovery, dependency mapping, application assessment, and target environment preparation.
- Strong scripting, automation, and cloud infrastructure-as-code skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, ARM, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, and integration with on-premises systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (Cloud Architect, Cloud Engineer, or Cloud Migration Specialist from AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Experience with large-scale enterprise migrations, including SAP, databases, or legacy application modernization.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
- Security, compliance, or governance experience in migrated environments.
- Certification in project management or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
Location:
- Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata
Shift Timings:
- 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
