Migration Manager

Role Overview: As a Migration Manager at HSBC, your role will involve analyzing funds structures and trial balances, as well as liaising with operational Subject Matter Experts. You will be responsible for testing the migration data load process and tooling, conducting fund migration load and reconciliation activities on multiple production systems, and performing parallel run reconciliations with a focus on issue resolution. Your responsibilities will also include managing virtual project workstreams for client on-boarding, evaluating opportunities to improve migration tooling, and identifying areas for automation to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze Funds Structures and Trial Balances, and liaise with operational SMEs - Conduct testing of migration data load process and tooling - Perform fund migration load and reconciliation activities on multiple production systems - Manage virtual project workstreams for client on-boarding - Evaluate opportunities to improve migration tooling and introduce automation - Support Data & Digital initiatives within Investor Services - Participate in wider team initiatives to support Investor Services Strategy Qualifications Required: - Masters Degree in Finance or other numerate subject, or good secondary education with relevant experience - Experience in operational change across Accounting & Valuation or Statutory Reporting beneficial - Prior experience in Change Programs advantageous - Experience in Finance and Banking industry environment - Structured approach to Projects as a Project lead - Strong operational experience and understanding of fund accounting across various fund types - Proven track record of fund migration / onboarding experience - Sound understanding of fund accounting services - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure - Experience in training others and knowledge transfer activities - Good negotiation and influencing skills At HSBC, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and be a valued member of a global organization dedicated to enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper.,
