The Vendor Master Data (VMD) Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and compliant vendor master records to enable business operations, strengthen internal controls, and actively prevent fraudulent master data updates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and deliver end-to-end SAP solution architectures across business units, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long-term IT strategy. Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and develop scalable SAP solutions tailored to industry-specific needs. Architect solutions for complex environments including SAP S/4HANA migrations, system integrations, and hybrid cloud landscapes. Lead SAP technical governance efforts, including design reviews, standards enforcement, and performance optimization. Oversee architectural decisions during key transformation programs across industries with high compliance and operational standards. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and system interoperability. Provide subject matter expertise in SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, and industry solutions like SAP for Oil & Gas, IS-Pharma, or Public Sector. Document solution designs, architecture blueprints, and integration strategies. Stay informed on SAP innovations and best practices, and advise on their relevance to ongoing or future projects. REQUIREMENTS: At least 10 - 15 years of SAP solution design and architecture experience, including at least 5 years in an enterprise or lead architect role. Strong familiarity with enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF (certification preferred). Proven experience delivering SAP solutions in oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or government/public sector environments. Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and legacy ECC environments, with the ability to guide migration and modernization efforts. Solid grasp of integration patterns, middleware (SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite), and enterprise systems interoperability. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams. Experience working with compliance-heavy and security-conscious environments. SAP and TOGAF certifications are highly desirable. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise, strong business process understanding, and hands-on configuration skills. In this role, you will focus on procurement, inventory management, and material planning in industries with complex supply chain operations. Partial remote arrangement will be possible thereafter. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementations, rollouts, and support activities across multiple projects. Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications and SAP MM configurations. Configure key components of SAP MM, including procurement, inventory management, vendor master, pricing, release strategies, and valuation. Design and execute integrations with related SAP modules such as PM, QM, SD, FI, WM, and PP. Conduct fit-gap analyses and recommend system improvements and enhancements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other functional consultants to ensure seamless project delivery. Prepare functional documentation, test scenarios, training materials, and conduct user training and UAT sessions. Provide Level 2/3 support, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the MM domain. Strong configuration and design experience in SAP MM core areas: procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, and materials planning. Familiarity with SAP integration points with PM, QM, SD, FI, WM, and PP. Experience working on S/4HANA projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and lead workshops, client discussions, and technical teams. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
