As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing scalable, secure, and highly available Azure infrastructure. Your role will involve managing and optimizing various Azure services such as VMs, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and VNET. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Your tasks will include migrating workloads within Azure, from On-premise to Azure, and from other cloud platforms to Azure. In case of any issues, you will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in the cloud environment. Collaboration with the sales team and customer team for requirement gathering and deployment phases is a key aspect of this role. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 2+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 1+ years specifically in Azure cloud services. Proficiency in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking services is required along with an understanding of M365 and O365. Experience in workload migration, deploying infrastructure in Azure, and working with monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning tools in Azure is essential. Possessing Azure certifications, a university degree or equivalent, and familiarity with hybrid cloud environments are also important requirements. Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in Azure and exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP will be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication and documentation skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and an analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
