As a Developer Senior Specialist within the Google Operations Center team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of the user experience for our essential internal tools and applications. Collaborating closely with UX designers and backend engineers, you will bring innovative solutions to life, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our users. Whether you possess a creative flair and a deep understanding of front-end technologies with a focus on user-centered design or excel as a problem solver with robust full-stack backend development and integration skills, we encourage you to apply! Responsibilities: - Design, implement, test, and launch new features for internal and external applications. - Utilize Scrum/Agile methodologies for application development and maintenance. - Scale the platform/application as needed while maintaining Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Maintain technical documentation aligned with the current platform/application implementation. - Enhance application architecture and resiliency continuously. - Address user/production bugs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure high end-user satisfaction. - Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable releases. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 to 6 years of experience in building web applications using languages such as Java or Python. - 5 years of experience in front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, or TypeScript. - Proficiency in Databases (SQL or NoSQL) and query optimization for performance. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and releasing full feature-sets. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in troubleshooting production issues. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in profiling applications for performance optimizations. - At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Computing platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS. - Hands-on experience in integration using REST API and SOAP API. - Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong understanding of Regex and database concepts. - Proficiency in backend development languages like Node.js. - Experience with Cloud Computing platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS. - Expertise in Middleware development/design, including remote procedure call-based and publish-subscribe-based systems. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
