Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Middleware Audio & Routing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing audio middleware solutions, enhancing audio routing capabilities, and ensuring high-quality audio playback across Android devices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain audio middleware solutions for Android. - Optimize audio routing for various device configurations and use cases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio features into applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in collaboration with QA and development teams. - Stay updated on the latest audio technologies and trends, and implement best practices. - Conduct performance profiling and optimization of audio components. - Document processes, code, and system architecture. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in audio middleware development, particularly for Android. - Strong understanding of audio processing concepts and techniques. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Kotlin. - Experience with audio APIs like AAudio, OpenSL ES, or AudioTrack. - Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) and audio codecs. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with real-time audio applications or game development. - Knowledge of Android internals and audio frameworks. - Familiarity with tools like Android Studio, Git, and JIRA
