Middleware and API developer

You are a skilled and detail-oriented iPaaS Application & Data Integration Developer, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining application and data integrations using modern iPaaS platforms such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar tools. Your role involves streamlining data flows, automating business processes, and enabling seamless communication between cloud and on-premise systems. In this position, you will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable integration solutions using iPaaS platforms, preferably Informatica IICS. You will be developing and managing API-based and batch integrations across cloud and on-premise systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translating them into technical specifications will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Working with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and various data formats and protocols will be part of your daily tasks. You will manage data synchronization, data transformation, error handling, and logging in integration flows. Monitoring and maintaining existing integrations, troubleshooting issues, and applying enhancements as needed will also fall under your purview. Ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of integration solutions will be a significant responsibility. Documenting integration architecture, processes, and configurations is essential. Staying current with new features and updates from iPaaS vendors and suggesting improvements will be expected of you. You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Informatica IICS, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of application integration patterns and data integration concepts is required. Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and message queues is necessary. A solid understanding of data transformation tools (XSLT, Data Mapper, Expression Language), proficiency in using relational databases (SQL), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus) are essential. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills are critical for success in this role. Nice-to-have qualifications include Informatica IICS certifications or equivalent, experience with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or other enterprise SaaS integrations, exposure to BPMN workflows and event-driven architecture, and knowledge of data governance, quality, and compliance principles.,
