Middle school Coordinator

Role Overview: As a teacher, you will be responsible for setting up schedules, lesson plans, and selecting learning material and resources to help achieve curriculum objectives. You will analyze the needs, interests, strengths, and weaknesses of students to develop lesson plans tailored to these factors. Monitoring progress and discipline, and keeping parents and school counselors informed of learners who need extra support will also be part of your role. Establishing classroom and debating rules, and ensuring all students adhere to these rules is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Request appropriate textbooks and learning aids - Organize field trips and ensure permission slips are distributed and signed in a timely manner - Participate in school events and act as a chaperone when required - Attend meetings, staff training, conferences, and other ongoing learning programs for professional development - Inform students of learning opportunities and prepare them for formal debates and other events Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree required - Work location is in person Additional Details: This is a full-time position with benefits including paid sick time, paid time off, and a Provident Fund.
