**Job Description:** As a Front-End Software Engineer at Aumni's client, MessageGears, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, collaborating with the Scrum Team, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. Your responsibilities will include front-end development, contributing to product improvements, and ensuring code quality, performance, and accessibility. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Work closely with the Scrum Team and Product Managers to break down Epics into User Stories and Developer Tasks. - Implement functionality, test automation, and data persistence tasks. - Conduct peer reviews on code changes to maintain quality and consistency. - Validate and test code changes in the QA environment. - Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, and accessible code. - Resolve customer escalations in collaboration with the support team. - Monitor and troubleshoot application performance for reliability and efficiency. - Identify challenges and propose opportunities for process improvement. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices. - Perform any other duties assigned as part of the role. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - Strong knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies. - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a SaaS or on-premise product-based software business. - 2 years of hands-on experience in front-end development using React.js or Angular. - Practical experience with TypeScript frameworks. - Familiarity with testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Nx, Jenkins, SonarCloud, etc. - Exposure to environments with visibility into customer use cases. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across different time zones. - Proactive approach to providing updates and collaborating asynchronously. - Cultural awareness and adaptability in cross-border work environments. **Desired Skills and Exposure:** - Exposure to React.js / Angular frameworks. - Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or test-centric methodologies. - Experience with front-end testing tools like Cypress, Playwright, etc. - Understanding of Reactive Forms and State Management. - Familiarity with Marketing Technologies and Java/Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. - Exposure to AWS services such as ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc. *Note: The role is with MessageGears, a customer marketing platform that connects directly to enterprise data warehouses.
