Mid Front End Engineer

As an experienced SFRA Frontend Developer, your role will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining SFRA-based storefronts with a focus on performance and scalability. You will be responsible for implementing composable commerce principles by integrating SFCC frontend with APIs, microservices, and headless systems. Your duties will also include building and optimizing ISML templates, controllers, and UI components to provide seamless customer experiences. In addition, you will collaborate with backend teams on SCAPI/OCAPI-driven headless integrations and ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility. Working with design teams to translate wireframes and UX guidelines into pixel-perfect implementations, optimizing frontend performance for page speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals, and participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation are also part of your responsibilities. Qualifications: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) frontend development. - Strong knowledge of SFRA framework and its frontend architecture. - Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, ISML, JSON, and AJAX. - Experience with Composable Commerce and API-first/headless commerce implementations. - Familiarity with REST APIs, SCAPI/OCAPI integrations. - Experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) for composable UI development. - Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and Agile methodology. - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Master's degree is a plus. - An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
