As a Metallurgical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and formulating metallic raw materials for dies and precision tools. You will analyze and recommend alloy compositions to ensure mechanical strength, wear resistance, and corrosion performance standards are met. Collaborating with R&D and production teams, you will work on new die/tool material innovations. Conducting metallurgical failure analysis, you will suggest improvements in tool performance and durability. Additionally, you will evaluate and manage heat treatment processes, coating, and surface finishing techniques while ensuring quality compliance with ISO and industry standards for metallurgy. Working closely with vendors/suppliers, you will verify that material specs are met for procurement. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science and have at least 3 years of experience in tool/die metallurgy or a related manufacturing environment. A strong knowledge of steel grades, tool steels, powder metallurgy, and heat treatment is essential. Hands-on experience with spectroscopy, microstructure analysis (SEM/EDX), and hardness testing is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills will be beneficial in this position.,

Knowledge of tagging HT output and managing lab operations for HT ball output and hardness analysis. Job Summary: We are hiring for the role of Heat Treatment Operator Output & Lab to support both production output and metallurgical lab testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heat treatment equipment, maintaining production output logs, and performing basic lab testing to ensure treated parts meet required metallurgical and mechanical standards. Key Responsibilities: Heat Treatment Operations: Operate and monitor various heat treatment processes (e.g., annealing, hardening, tempering, carburizing, etc.). Set furnace parameters based on process requirements (temperature, soak time, atmosphere). Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. Load and unload components in furnaces and handle quenching processes. Output & Production Monitoring: Record daily production output from the heat treatment section. Maintain job cards, batch records, and process traceability documentation. Coordinate with the planning and production teams to ensure on-time delivery. Lab & Quality Responsibilities: Perform basic metallurgical testing: hardness, microstructure analysis, case depth measurement. Prepare samples for lab inspection using polishing and etching techniques. Maintain lab equipment and calibration records. Log and report deviations, non-conformities, and assist in root cause analysis. Work closely with QA/QC teams to support in-process and final inspection.
