As a Full Time WFO MicroStrategy Consultant with 3+ years of experience in Nagpur/Pune, your main responsibility will be to collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements. You will then translate these business needs into technical specifications for MicroStrategy BI solutions. Additionally, you will design and develop MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations, utilizing MicroStrategy features to create efficient and user-friendly BI solutions. Another key aspect of your role will involve defining and implementing data models that support reporting and analytics requirements. You will ensure data accuracy, integrity, and optimal performance within MicroStrategy. Performance optimization will also be crucial, as you will need to optimize MicroStrategy reports and queries for improved performance and implement best practices to enhance overall system efficiency. Client collaboration is an essential part of this role, as you will work closely with clients to demonstrate MicroStrategy capabilities, gather feedback, and provide training and support to end-users. Integration of MicroStrategy with various data sources and third-party applications, as well as collaboration with IT teams to ensure seamless data flow between systems, will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will design and implement security models within the MicroStrategy environment, defining user roles, access controls, and data security measures. Documentation of MicroStrategy solutions, configurations, and best practices will be necessary to ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for future reference. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as a MicroStrategy Consultant. Strong understanding of BI concepts, data modeling, data warehousing, proficiency in SQL, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions are also essential qualifications. Preferred skills for this role include MicroStrategy certification, experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView, knowledge of data visualization best practices, and familiarity with ETL processes and tools. You should have a proven track record of performance tuning and optimization of MicroStrategy reports, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including on-call duties, is required. Good-to-have skills include knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, and familiarity with the retail domain. A qualification of 4-8 years of relevant experience in BI tools, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, is preferred. Relevant certifications in MicroStrategy or related technologies will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MicroStrategy reporting tools and a keen eye for detail in data presentation. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop reports, dashboards, and documents using MicroStrategy Web, Desktop, and Mobile. Collaborate with business users to gather and understand reporting requirements. Create visually effective and user-friendly reports and dashboards. Write and optimize SQL queries for report development. Ensure accuracy and consistency of report outputs through thorough validation and testing. Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues in a timely manner. Maintain and enhance existing MicroStrategy reports as per business changes. Create and update documentation for reports and dashboard solutions. Stay updated with the latest MicroStrategy reporting features and functionalities.
