As a SP3D Piping Designer - Modeller & Detailer, you will be responsible for utilizing your proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Smart Plant 3D, to create detailed piping designs. Your role will involve demonstrating a good understanding of piping design principles, codes, and standards including ASME, ANSI, and API. Additionally, basic knowledge in power plant supercritical boiler design will be beneficial. With a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in planning pipe routing, particularly for Power Plant applications, you will contribute to the efficient layout and design of piping systems. Familiarity with various codes and standards within the Power Industry is essential for this role. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and preparing material take-offs, understanding stress analysis requirements, and reviewing Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) for supercritical power boilers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required to support your design activities. Strong soft skills such as effective communication, interpersonal abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential for successful collaboration within the team and with stakeholders. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to meet project requirements effectively.
