About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate backend APIs within the Microsoft technology stack.
  
• Work with Azure services (Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, App Services) for API orchestration and deployment.
  
• Build and optimize SQL Server databases and stored procedures.
  
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
  
• Ensure backend services are reliable, performant, and scalable.
  
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in C# and.NET Core.
  
• Proven experience in backend API development.
  
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, App Services).
  
• Solid experience with SQL Server (schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  
• Good knowledge of REST API design principles.
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  
• Knowledge of healthcare/regulated industry data handling.
  
• Experience with event-driven systems (Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka).
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 36 years of backend development experience.
